I am a lifelong pianist and singer, as well as a risk analytics professional, applied mathematician, North Carolina native, and humanist. I began singing in ensembles at age five; now, I can’t imagine my life without one.
I am currently the Assistant Conductor of the Concert Singers of Cary, as well as a member of their Board of Directors. I have proudly served as musical director for the UNCG Spartones premier tenor/bass a cappella group, as well as the SAS Vocal Motion show choir. I’ve performed with ensembles in notable venues around the world, including Carnegie Hall and St. Peter’s Basilica.
Besides the Concert Singers, I am also a proud member of the Heart of Carolina A Cappella barbershop chorus, the NC State Choral Artists semi-professional ensemble, the CHROMATICA Collective, and multiple barbershop quartets.
I earned B.A.s in Music Studies and Mathematics from UNC Greensboro and a Masters of Financial Mathematics from NC State University. I worked as a software developer and domain expert for SAS Institute in Cary, NC for 6 years, and am currently a consultant with Financial Risk Group, Inc.
